X Wave therapy for cellulite reduction

What is X -Wave ?

X Wave is the new US FDA approved non-invasive aesthetic device for reduction of cellulite using acoustic wave technology. Eight to ten sessions at weekly intervals give optimal results in most patients.
The acoustic waves used in X Wave break down the adhesive fibrous bands in the skin, which lead to the puckering and dimpling of cellulite. Thus X Wave treatments gradually improve visible cellulite.
Key highlights of the XWave technology include:
• Clinically tested with good results, leading to US FDA approval of the device
• Comfortable, painless, non-invasive treatment without any side effects or downtime
• Long lasting, visible results, and high satisfaction rates reported by patients worldwide
• XWave may be safely combined with Mesotherapy, to further improve cellulite.
The X-Wave treatment uses the laws of the Acoustic Waves Technology which has been scientifically verified for more than 30 years in several medical treatments.
• Oscillating acoustic waves induce vibration in connective tissue.
• The tissue relaxes and tightens. The firmness and elasticity of the dermis increases.
• Blood circulation and collagen production is significantly stimulated.
• Patients typically experience improvement in the skin’s texture and elasticity.

Excellent Results in:
• Anti-cellulite therapy
• Connective tissue tightening
• Skin rejuvenation and elasticity increase
• Appearance of stretch marks
• Minimazing unsightly scars
X-Wave Treatment Areas:
• Upper arms

Coolsculpting (Cryolipolysis) : Freeze Your Fat Away No Downtime FDA Approved

Coolsculpting (Cryolipolysis)
Cryolipolysis, popularly known as CoolSculpting is a trademark  owned by Zeltiq Aesthetics, Inc.. According to the trademark registration file, it refers to a medical device used to destroy fat cells. Its principle relies on controlled cooling for non-invasive local reduction of fat deposits to reshape body contours. The exposure to cooling is set so that it causes cell death of subcutaneous fat tissue without apparent damage to the overlying skin. The procedure is billed as a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction. Cryolipolysis is a portmanteau of “cryogenic” and “lipolysis.” Cryogenic lipolysis is the process of controlled cooling to reduce localised fat deposits used in Cool Sculpting.
How does CoolSculpt work?
CoolSculpting by Zeltiq uses cold energy to permanently destroy fat cells. The CoolSculpting machine works by pulling your fat bulge into a device that has two cooling plates. The fat is held by a strong vacuum. The cooling plates are activated to the specific temperature where fat cells are vulnerable and die, and your skin, nerves, blood vessels, etc are fine. This process takes an hour per area. Multiple areas can be done at one time in some cases.

Is CoolSculpting permanent?
Yes, you typically do not grow new fat cells as an adult, and the fat cells are destroyed. Let’s say you shrink 20% by destroying 20% of the fat cells. It is still possible to gain weight and grow that area again. But then by getting back to your previous weight, you would still have the benefit. Again, this is not a miracle, the coolsculpt procedure destroys bulges of fat, and is not a solution to weight gain
Is there any downtime with CoolSculpting?
No. This is a no downtime procedure in the vast majority of people. In the side effects discussion, we talked about the fact that infrequently there can be pain requiring pain pills, or bruising, but that is uncommon. Typically, no one will be able to tell you had a procedure done but only notice gradual reduction of fat in the area treated.

Why choose Coolsculpting?
Coolsculpting is unique in that it permanently destroys fat cells. Other procedures do work, but don’t do the same thing. Laser and radiofrequency cause the fat cells to become leaky, or tighten the connective tissue holding the fat cells in place. There is no permanent reduction of fat or fat cells with other devices. There is a procedure where injections of medication are used to destroy fat cells. This is referred to as “mesotherapy” or “lipodissolve”. These do work, but much less effectively than a single coolsculpt procedure.
Side effects
Side effect data are based on a limited experience. Transient local redness, bruising and numbness of the skin are common side effects of the treatment and expected to subside. Typically sensory deficits will subside within a month. The effect on peripheral nerves was investigated and failed to show permanent detrimental results. No serious long-lasting side effects were encountered during follow-up time of 6 months. Scarring, ulcerations, or changes in blood lipids or liver functions have not been reported.
FDA approval
In September 2010, the Food and Drug Administration approved  Coolsculpging is only non surgical devices for the purpose of selective fat reduction, the Zeltiq device for “cryolipolysis”. Zeltiq Aesthetics of Pleasanton, California, which developed the cryolipolysis device was founded by Scott Wolf, MD, with funding from venture capital companies including Advanced Technology Ventures, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Venrock and Aisling Capital.
